Michelle Vinokurov

Michelle Vinokurov, CFRE has extensive experience in the field of fundraising and development, spanning over two decades. Their most recent position was as the Director, Strategic Accounts & Senior Fundraising Strategist at Blue North Strategies, where they were responsible for managing client relationships, revenue goals, and serving as a key ambassador for the organization. Prior to Blue North, Michelle held various roles in different organizations, including Director of Development & Marketing at North York Harvest Food Bank, Director of Major Gifts at Canadian Feed The Children, and Director at North York General Foundation. Michelle also served on the Board of Directors for Annex Cat Rescue and AFP Foundation for Philanthropy-Canada. Michelle Vinokurov, CFRE has a diverse education history. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and International Development from Tyndale University between 2009 and 2012. Michelle also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Education from Tyndale University College from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their degrees, Michelle has a Certificate in Chinese Language from Beijing Language and Culture University, completed between 2007 and 2010. Furthermore, they completed the Orignal Canadian Gift Planning Course offered by the Canadian Association of Gift Planners in 2019. Michelle has also pursued additional certifications, including Introduction to Programming Using Python from BrainStation and the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation from CFRE International. Michelle is also an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, as recognized by Udemy in 2022.
