Will Morton

Will Morton has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. Will started their career in 2008 as Lead Technical Design Analyst at BP, where they created a continuous integration and configuration management system. In 2010, they became CTO at robonobo, where they managed a four-person distributed team and designed and delivered a desktop client. In 2011, they were Software Lead at GeoSweep, managing a five-strong development team and automating production deployment time from 3hr to 15m. In 2012, they worked as a Consultant at Equal Experts. In 2013, they were DevOps Director at Beats Music, automating environment and software build process for the company's BigData-based music streaming service. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer (ICT5) at Apple. In 2017, they were Co-Founder (Product & Engineering) at Circles and Consultant Software Engineer at Scoot Networks. Most recently, in 2019, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Elevate Security. In 2020, they are currently Cloud & Data Manager at Blue Ocean Gear.

Will Morton attended Durham University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Will then attended the University of Cambridge from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science.
