Mark Slade

Mark Slade's work experience can be summarized as follows:

From January 2023, Mark has been working as the UUV Workstream Lead at Blue Ocean Seismic Services Limited.

From September 2021 to December 2022, Mark served as the Head of Engineering at Prismatic Ltd. Prior to this, they held various roles at the same company, including Head of Flight Systems from August 2019 to August 2021, Head of Avionics from October 2018 to August 2019, and Lead Electronics Design Engineer in September 2018.

From April 2017 to August 2018, Mark worked as the Design Manager - Operations at QinetiQ. Mark then held the role of Regional Design Manager / Production Manager - Farnborough from April 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they were a Senior Design Engineer / Electronics Production Manager from April 2014 to March 2015. Mark started their career at QinetiQ as a Design Engineer in November 2011 and worked in this role until March 2014. Mark initially joined QinetiQ as a Graduate Electronics Engineer in September 2004 and worked in this position until November 2007.

Mark Slade obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree (BEng hons) in Digital Systems Engineering from the University of the West of England, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Mark then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Management from the University of Bath, completing it from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, Mark attended Bath College, where they obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechatronics. Their secondary education took place at Wellsway Secondary School from 1993 to 1998.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Mark Slade has also obtained certifications. Mark received a certification in Managing Safely from THE INSTITUTION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH in August 2016. Furthermore, in September 2013, they achieved the status of Incorporated Engineer (IEng) from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
