Rennan Cockles

Rennan Cockles has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rennan is currently employed as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Blue Orange Digital, where they collaborate with a major credit report and score company to implement data-driven analytics and optimize business processes. Prior to this, Rennan worked as a Data Engineering Specialist at Wittel, where they were responsible for the architecture and maintenance of the company's Data Lake, as well as the development of APIs and code testing for machine learning models. Before that, Rennan served as a Senior Data Scientist at Via Varejo SA, working on the pricing team and developing tools to support strategic pricing for the company. Earlier in their career, Rennan worked as a Software Engineer at SYNNEX Westcon-Comstor Latam, where they led projects in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Rennan also gained experience as a Network Analyst and Full Stack Developer at Gigalink, an Intern at VGN Vista Group Network, and a Teaching Assistant at UERJ. Rennan's career started with a Scientific Initiation role at CNPq.

Rennan Cockles obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from UERJ, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Later, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Pós Graduação (Post-Graduation) in Analytics e Business Intelligence from PUC Minas.

In addition to their academic degrees, Rennan has acquired several certifications in various fields. Rennan obtained the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in July 2020. In January 2020, they received certifications in Building Deep Learning Models with TensorFlow, Deep Learning & Neural Networks with Keras, Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch, Machine Learning with Python, and Scalable Machine Learning on Big Data using Apache Spark, all from IBM. Rennan also completed a Machine Learning course from Stanford University in January 2020. In June 2016, Rennan acquired the Big Data Fundamentals certification from Data Science Academy. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Fundamentos na Lei Geral de Proteção aos Dados (LGPD) from CertiProf in October 2021, Kanban Foundation (KIKF) from the Kanban Institute in September 2020, and DevOps Essentials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from CertiProf in July 2020.
