Abdullah Yar

Abdullah Yar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion and payload design, currently serving as a Propulsion Engineer II at Blue Origin since December 2022. Key achievements include optimizing ignition valve assembly designs, implementing supplier inspection criteria, and enhancing test campaign efficiency. Prior to this role, Abdullah held various engineering positions at Boeing from 2016 to 2022, where significant contributions included leading design teams to reduce build quality issues, executing complex wire solutions for aircraft systems, and driving cost-saving redesigns through innovative engineering practices. Abdullah Yar holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, along with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and has completed a Professional Certificate in Leadership Principles for Engineers.
