Daniel Wiese currently works at Blue Origin as a Guidance Navigation and Control specialist since July 2023. Previously, Daniel served as a Flight Instructor at Aviation Adventures from September 2022 to July 2023, providing training for various pilot certifications. In the role of Director of R&D at WHOOP from February 2020 to July 2022, Daniel led efforts to develop innovative technologies aimed at enhancing human performance, successfully building a 17-person team. As Co-Founder and CTO of Humon from June 2016 to February 2020, Daniel guided the technical vision and development of a consumer wearable technology company. Earlier experience includes research roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Air Force Research Laboratory, focusing on adaptive control algorithms and high-fidelity simulations. Daniel holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and has further education in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management.
