Derek Sellers

Derek Sellers is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration and network operations, currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator at Blue Origin since January 2022. Prior roles include Network Operations Manager at Firefly Aerospace, where significant accomplishments included upgrading firewall systems and designing high-speed networks for critical operations. Derek also served as a Launch IT Systems Analyst at SpaceX, managing IT operations at a launch site, and has held various positions in IT support and administration across multiple organizations, including the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. With a BA in Music: Vocal Performance and a minor in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University, Derek blends technical expertise with a background in the arts.
