Gerardo Ramirez Marquez

Gerardo (Jerry) Ramirez Marquez is a skilled propulsion test engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since October 2021. Prior to this role, Jerry worked at NASA as an Aerospace Propulsion Systems Engineer from January 2021 to September 2021, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Space Exploration and Technology Research (cSETR) from January 2018 to January 2021. Jerry gained practical experience as a Propulsion Engineering Intern and a Production Engineering Intern at United Launch Alliance in the summer of 2020 and 2019, respectively, and as a Propulsion Engineer Intern at NASA in the summer of 2018. Jerry holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering attained from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2020, following a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the same institution in 2019.
