Systems Engineering Tools Team Lead at Blue Origin

Jeannette Illsley is a seasoned professional in aerospace engineering with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as Systems Engineering Tools Team Lead at Blue Origin since June 2018, Jeannette previously held the role of Systems Engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory from May 2005 to January 2012, where responsibilities included leading operations revitalization and conducting mission operations training. Prior to that, Jeannette worked at Boeing from July 1996 to May 2005 as both C-17 Flight Test Engineer and F-22 Structural Development Test Engineer, managing comprehensive testing programs and overseeing budget and resource allocation for large teams. Jeannette's career began as a Student Worker at the Colorado Space Grant Consortium from September 1992 to May 1996, focusing on quality and safety for NASA space shuttle payloads. Jeannette holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1992 and 1996.
