Joel Estrada

Joel Estrada is an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since November 2022, where contributions focus on Systems Engineering Integration and Test for New Glenn and system safety. Prior experience includes working at Protingent in a similar role at Blue Origin, and serving as an Avionics Systems Engineer at Spectralux Avionics, where documentation for environmental certification and process improvements were key achievements. Joel's career began at Boeing, where significant accomplishments as an Electronic and Electrical Systems Design Engineer included managing the Ground Maneuver Camera System 2 and achieving substantial cost savings in flight testing. In addition to engineering roles, Joel has held security positions and has a strong educational background with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from UW Professional & Continuing Education.
