John Burke

John Burke is a proficient propulsion engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since July 2021, where responsibilities include the design of BE-7 LH2 turbomachinery and previous roles focused on BE-3U turbines and various fluid systems for lunar missions and other projects. John Burke has gained diverse experience through various internships and academic roles, including positions at Boeing, Williams International, and Magna International, and has served as a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. John Burke holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, with a comprehensive background in mechanical systems design, thermofluids, and engineering education.
