Kirsten Reid

Kirsten Reid is an experienced engineer with a focus on aerospace and systems engineering, currently serving as an AI&T Systems Engineer at Blue Origin since September 2022. Previously, Reid developed efficiency-driven build plans and identified program-level requirement gaps in various engineering roles at Blue Origin, contributing to increased budgetary efficiency and strategic coordination across disciplines. Reid also has hands-on design experience from roles involving high-pressure systems and rocket test apparatuses, as well as leadership in academic projects, including a significant paper co-authored for the AIAA Propulsion Conference. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Space Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Engineering in Space Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
