Mark Oakley

Mark Oakley, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in aerospace and propulsion systems. Currently serving as Senior Integrated Product Team Lead at Blue Origin since January 2023, Mark has successfully directed a cross-functional team to develop innovative BE-7 engine configurations. Prior to this, Mark held various leadership roles at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included managing assembly and testing operations for RD-181 engines, and at Westinghouse Electric Company, contributing to the construction of AP1000 nuclear power plants. Mark's earlier experience includes positions at TGV Rockets, Lockheed Martin, and AugmentX, where design and testing of propulsion systems and other aerospace components were central to the role. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and two Associate's degrees in Aerospace Propulsion Technology and Liberal Arts and Sciences.
