Michael Searing

Michael Searing is a Senior Mechanical Engineer and IPT Lead at Blue Origin, where they have been involved in the New Shepard Program since 2016. Prior to their current role, Searing contributed as a Mechanical Engineer II and Engineering Intern at Blue Origin, designing and testing systems for spaceflight. They began their engineering career at Digital Loggers, Inc. and also gained experience as a Camp Counselor with the Boy Scouts of America. Searing holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and a Master of Science from the University of Washington.
