Pouria Karimi

Pouria Karimi is an experienced Launch Vehicle Control Systems Engineer currently employed at Blue Origin, where responsibilities include developing flight control application software for the New Glenn second-stage pneumatics system. Prior to this role, Pouria served as a Lead Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, focusing on lab procedures, training, and research in scalable control strategies for multi-vehicle traffic networks. Additional teaching experience includes instructing undergraduate courses in instrumentation and providing support in various engineering disciplines. Pouria holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution and Sharif University of Technology, respectively.
