Rhys Davies

Rhys Davies is a Senior Software Engineer at Blue Origin since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rhys served as Lead Engineer at Hadrian from February 2023 to March 2024, where the core data engineering and reporting infrastructure was developed, including the construction of a Data Warehouse utilizing RDS/Aurora, Redpanda, Airbyte, and Argo Workflows. From October 2019 to February 2023, Rhys worked at Golden as Lead Engineer, architecting and maintaining cloud solutions, along with designing and deploying data and web3 architecture using Terraform, Airflow, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Alchemy, Ceramic, and IPFS. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at Neighborly, focusing on a municipal bond trading platform, and at Varo Money Inc., where a digital banking solution was built. Early career milestones include backend development for Travelex's Forex transactions and software development at Workshare. Rhys holds a BSc degree in Creative Computing from Goldsmiths, University of London, earned between 2009 and 2012.
