RJ T. is an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer currently employed at Blue Origin since January 2022, previously holding the role of Aerospace Systems Engineer I. RJ T. has been involved in top-level vehicle configuration and design for the Blue Moon MK2 Crew Lander, conducting vehicle sizing studies, analyzing launch vehicle fairing compliance, and optimizing subsystem hardware layouts. RJ T. has a strong focus on interfacing with National Team partners, ensuring programmatic alignment, and developing tools to enhance subsystem design maturity. Prior to Blue Origin, RJ T. held various roles, including Instructor at Mathnasium and Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, where skills in research and teaching were honed. Education includes a Master’s degree in Space Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
