Shelby Hopkins

Shelby Hopkins is an accomplished aerospace engineering professional with extensive experience in system integration and analysis. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of System Integration and Analysis at Blue Origin since January 2022, notable responsibilities include leading integration for the Lunar Permanence organization and the Orbital Reef Space Station's environmental control and life support system (ECLSS) efforts. Prior experience at Lockheed Martin includes roles as Senior Systems Engineer and Fault Management Lead for the Orion Mission, contributing to both the Human Landing System and the National Team Lunar Lander. Shelby's background also encompasses significant internships and research experiences at prestigious organizations such as NASA and Boeing, along with a strong academic foundation from Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition, Shelby has demonstrated leadership in community outreach as the Women's Impact Network Community Outreach Committee Lead.
