James Lee

James Lee started their work experience in 1989 at Kidder Peabody as an Institutional Fixed Income Sales. James then joined Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in 1993 as a Vice President in Institutional Fixed Income Sales. In 1994, they moved to Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and held various roles including Co-Head of Int'l Institutional Fixed Income Sales and later became the Head of Fixed Income Sales. In 2000, they joined Credit Suisse as Head of CLO & CBO, Leveraged Finance Group. James then transitioned to Citi in 2002 as the Head of Asia/Managing Director, Structured Credit Products. In 2008, James became a Managing Director at The Blackstone Group until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Head of Asia Distribution at Credit Suisse. In 2020, James founded their own company called Ascentium Group Limited. Currently, they work as the Head Of Institutional Business Development at Blue Owl Capital since December 2021.

James Lee completed their undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley from 1984 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Asian (Japanese) Studies.
