Karla Daly

Karla Daly has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on senior roles. Karla is currently a Managing Director of Human Resources at Blue Owl Capital since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at both Blue Owl Capital and Centerbridge Partners, L.P. from February 2022 to July 2022 and September 2018 to December 2021, respectively.

Before their role at Centerbridge Partners, L.P., Karla worked at Barclays in various HR positions. Karla served as the Global Head of HR Barclaycard COO (incl. Tech and Ops) and Americas Head of HR COO & Corp Functions from October 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they were the Americas Head of Human Resources, Corporate Functions and Lead Global HRBP for IB Finance from September 2015 to September 2016. Karla also held the position of Head of Human Resources Wealth & Investment Management Americas and Corporate Banking from October 2014 to December 2015.

Prior to Barclays, Karla worked at UBS Investment Bank, where they held roles such as Global Head of Equities Human Resources, Americas Regional Head of HR, Equities, and Senior HR Manager for UBS Canada. Their time at UBS spanned from August 2000 to April 2013.

Before UBS, Karla worked at JP Morgan as a Human Resources Business Partner from 1997 to 2000. Karla started their career at Boston Financial Data Services, where they held various HR roles including Compensation and HRIS Manager and Recruiting Manager from 1986 to 1997.

Karla began their career at Publishers Clearing House as an HR Assistant from 1984 to 1986.

Karla Daly obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University at Albany, SUNY, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Prior to their university education, Karla Daly attended Half Hollow Hills High School East.
