Michelle Tihal

Michelle Tihal, CPA, CA, currently serves as Principal - Operations & Accounting at Blue Owl Capital since October 2022. Previously, Michelle held multiple roles at Brookfield Asset Management, including Vice President - Finance & Accounting (Risk & Controls) and Director - Finance & Accounting (Risk & Controls) from February 2018 to September 2022. Prior to this, Michelle spent over a decade at Bristol-Myers Squibb in various positions such as Business Controls Manager for Global Manufacturing & Supply and Finance Manager for Biologics Manufacturing & Process Development. Michelle began a career in accounting at Deloitte as a Senior Staff Accountant from September 2003 to May 2006. Academic qualifications include a CPA, CA from CPA Ontario, a BSc in Biology and Psychology from Queen's University, and a Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
