Sonya Li

Sonya Li is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and banking. Currently serving as Managing Director at Blue Owl Capital since July 2022, Sonya previously held the position of Principal at Angel Island Capital from April 2014 to June 2022. Prior to that role, Sonya worked as an Associate at Golden Gate Capital and Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC. Beginning a career in investment banking as an Analyst in the Restructuring Group at Rothschild from June 2008 to June 2010, Sonya’s foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts from the Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania, both completed in 2008.
