Kirk Veitch has extensive experience in the engineering and renewable energy industry. Prior to this, Kirk worked as a Contract Manager - Projects at Pacific Hydro, where they handled the engineering and contractual aspects of brownfields projects. Kirk also served as a Principal Engineer - Renewable Energy at AECOM, where they led various documentation, technical, design, and project management tasks for wind, solar, and grid storage facilities. Kirk has also worked at Vestas - Australian Wind Technology, where they held multiple roles including Design Manager, Design Coordinator, and Assistant Project Manager. Kirk also gained experience in the automotive industry as a Cooperative Student Engineer at Ford Motor Company. Kirk Veitch completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) and Bachelor of Business degree from Swinburne University of Technology between 2000 and 2005. In 2008, they pursued a Diploma of Project Management from the Australian College of Project Management. Additionally, Kirk obtained the certification of Certified Practicing Project Manager from the Australian Institute of Project Management in the year 2016.
