Abigail Pendry is a GIS Analyst I at Blue Raster since June 2021, providing GIS support for various conservation non-profits and creating scalable ecological analyses to support public policy. Previously, Abigail served as an Associate GIS Analyst at the National Audubon Society, where significant contributions included developing a high-profile wildlife count application, redesigning the Birdability tool, and conducting spatial analyses on birding rates in relation to socio-economic status. With a background as a GIS Research Analyst at Child Care Aware of America and experience as a Geographic Information System Intern at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Abigail has honed skills in data visualization, analysis, and education within the GIS field. Abigail holds a B.S. in Environmental and Ecological Science and a B.A. in Adventure-Based Learning from Elon University.
