Geoffrey Jaynes

Geoffrey Jaynes has extensive experience in logistics and operations management. Geoffrey currently holds the position of Vice President, Blue Rhino Operations at Blue Rhino, where they are responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient final mile of a national distribution network. Geoffrey successfully managed a significant increase in demand due to nesting and implemented a technology change from push email reporting to Power BI platform.

Prior to their current role, Jaynes served as the General Manager at Blue Rhino, where they were instrumental in establishing and managing the newly separated South Region Blue Rhino operations. Geoffrey recruited and developed a management team from scratch, leading to their replacement and enabling upward movement. Through positive change management, they maximized staff retention and profitability.

Before joining Blue Rhino, Jaynes was the General Manager at Ferrellgas from 2012 to 2020. Geoffrey provided strategic leadership for operations and sales in the South Region, improving market share through firm negotiations and continuous marketing strategies.

Jaynes began their career at Ryder System, Inc. in 2001, where they held various roles including Logistics Manager and Customer Logistics Coordinator.

Throughout their career, Jaynes has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on maximizing profitability and operational excellence.

Geoffrey Jaynes obtained their Bachelor's degree in Marketing from The University of Alabama, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired the certification of LP Gas Master Qualifier from the State of Florida in June 2013.
