Catherine Gamboa

Catherine Gamboa is a seasoned professional in machine learning and education, currently serving as the Machine Learning Global Educationalist and ML Ambassador Program Director at Blue River Technology since January 2021. Previously, Gamboa worked as a Machine Learning Content Curator at the same company, contributing to the development of innovative smart agriculture solutions. Prior experience includes a role as a Technical Curriculum Developer for Google, focusing on machine learning and IoT courses for Google Cloud Platform, and a course development position at Udacity in collaboration with Georgia Tech University, where Gamboa created numerous advanced courses in computer science. Gamboa began a career in academia as a Teaching Associate at San Jose State University, engaging with both graduate and undergraduate students in courses related to logic design and computer architecture. Gamboa holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University, along with a certificate in Embedded Systems from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
