Subhayan Mukherjee, PhD

Subhayan Mukherjee, PhD, is a Computer Vision Research Engineer at Blue River Technology since June 2022, following the acquisition of Light's patents by John Deere. Prior experience includes roles at Light, Tetra Tech, and 3vGeomatics, where significant contributions were made in online multiview geometric calibration, deep learning for rail inspection software, and developing innovative methodologies for synthetic aperture radar image processing. Mukherjee has also held teaching and research positions at the University of Alberta and worked at Dolby Laboratories and Informatica, focusing on image processing and software development. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, an M.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, and a B.Tech. from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
