Ziyu Chen

Ziyu Chen is a Senior Computer Vision Research Engineer at OPPO, with experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning since December 2019. Prior to this role, Ziyu worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Graphen for eight months in 2019 and interned as a Data Scientist at Deloitte in the summer of 2018. Ziyu also contributed to academia by developing the R package "noaastormevents" during a tenure as an R Package Developer at Colorado State University from May 2016 to January 2017. Ziyu holds a Master’s degree in Statistics with a focus on Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Psychology, along with a minor in Mathematics from Colorado State University. Additionally, Ziyu earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Cognitive Science from East China Normal University.
