Alan Tank

Alan Tank is an advisor at Blue Sea Capital and a former CEO of AgCert International plc. Alan has also served as the National Pork Producers Council and as a partner and commodity broker at U.S. Commodities, Inc.

Tank founded AgCert in 2000 and led the company to become a world leader in the production and sale of agriculturally derived greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions. Under their leadership, AgCert successfully completed an IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 and secured an investment from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

AgCert was established to generate emission reduction offsets from the installation and operation of more than 600 anaerobic digestion projects largely on dairy and swine farms in developing countries, including Brazil and Mexico, to reduce the adverse impacts of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions related to global warming and climate change.

Alan Tank received a BS in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
