Andrew Kiefer

Andrew Kiefer has extensive experience in government affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Government Affairs at Blue Shield of California since February 2011, after holding positions as Senior Director and Director in the same department. Prior to joining Blue Shield, Andrew Kiefer worked as Chief of Staff at the California State Assembly from December 2008 to February 2011 and served as Legislative Director there from 2000 to 2006. Andrew Kiefer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of California, Davis, from 1996 to 2000.
