Chase Cole

Chase Cole, MBA has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Chase started their career at Capital Group | American Funds in 2013 as an Investment Operations Associate, where they completed basic accounting and finance functions for mutual funds. During their time there, Chase implemented process improvement initiatives that optimized workflow and enhanced spreadsheets. Chase was then promoted to Investment Operations Senior Associate, where they directed a team in specialized accounting and financial functions. In this role, they researched and processed corporate actions, determined tax liabilities, and provided analysis to portfolio managers. Chase then transitioned to the role of Associate Financial Analyst, supporting business operations and executive decision-making through financial planning and analysis reporting. Chase collaborated with business partners and effectively communicated complex matters to management. Finally, Chase joined Blue Shield of California in 2019 as a Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for overseeing a budget of over $200 million for one of the company's largest business units. Their duties included meeting with directors and vice presidents to discuss financial performance and driving ad-hoc analyses for strategic decision-making. Recently, they were promoted to the role of Lead Financial Analyst.
