Kimberly Belshé is the Director of Blue Shield of California. Kimberly has dedicated their career to public service and improving the lives of others.
Kimberly began their career as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Public Policy Institute of California. From there, they served as the Secretary of Health and Human Services for the state of California. In this role, they helped improve access to healthcare and worked to make it more affordable for all Californians.
After a decade of public service, Kimberly joined Blue Shield of California Foundation, where they worked to expand access to healthcare. In their current role as Director at Blue Shield of California, they are continuing their work to improve the lives of Californians by making healthcare more accessible and affordable.
Kimberly Belshé attended the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, where they earned a Master's in Public Policy. Her focus was on domestic policy. Prior to that, they graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in Government.
