Samuel Raasch

Samuel Raasch is an experienced professional in sustainability and community engagement, currently serving as the Community Manager at Intention, a climate tech venture capital fund, since February 2023. Previously, Samuel held the position of Sustainability Manager at Inova Health System from January 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included implementing sustainability programs across multiple hospitals. Prior roles include Deputy Director at Clean Fairfax Council, where Samuel developed civic engagement initiatives, and positions with the U.S. Forest Service and Gryphon Scientific, focusing on environmental management and consulting. Samuel's early career involved research at The Bipolar Collaborative Network and a teaching role at New York University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Penn State University.
