Michael Kane

Michael Kane, CPA has a diverse work experience in finance and taxation. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Galvan since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Tax Manager at Sportsman's Warehouse from November 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they held the positions of Tax Manager and Senior Tax Accountant at Pluralsight from December 2019 to October 2021 and May 2021 to October 2021, respectively. Michael also worked at Deloitte as a Tax Senior and Tax Consultant from August 2018 to December 2019 and January 2017 to December 2019, respectively. Their earlier experience includes working as a Junior Management Accountant at UK2 Group from November 2014 to October 2016.

Michael Kane, CPA holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, which was obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the same institution, spanning from 2010 to 2015. Michael has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the State of Utah in December 2021 and the California Board of Accountancy in April 2018.
