Amy Farthing

Amy Farthing is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in school administration and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of School Administration for the Blue Valley School District since July 2009, Amy has held various leadership roles including Director of Academic Achievement and Accountability and Elementary School Principal. Previous positions within the Blue Valley School District from 2002 to 2009 encompass District Coordinating Teacher-Elementary Literacy and Reading Specialist. Early in their career, Amy worked as an Elementary Classroom Teacher for six years across various grade levels. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in School Leadership from Baker University, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Reading Specialist from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University.
