Roy Orfaig

Roy Orfaig is an accomplished Senior AI researcher at UVeye, specializing in AI-driven vehicle inspection systems, including multi-object tracking and model optimizations. Concurrently, Roy serves as a lecturer at Tel Aviv University, focusing on autonomous robot mapping and perception, and also supervises a research group for M.Sc students. Previously, Roy held the position of AI & Perception Tech Lead at BWR, where new capabilities for agricultural systems were developed, and served as Director of Algorithms at Brodmann17, managing AI projects for vision-based automated driving. With extensive experience at IAI in computer vision and deep learning, as well as a foundational role in algorithm development at Applied Materials and Card Guard, Roy has a strong background in signal processing and system engineering. Roy holds an M.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
