Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas is an Operating Partner at Blue Wolf Capital Partners LLC. The Blue Wolf Capital Funds are a family of private equity funds focused on transformational investments in middle market companies.

Mr. Thomas was named a Blue Wolf Operating Partner in 2017 after successfully leading the financial and operational turnaround and ultimate sale of Snappy Air Distribution Products- a Blue Wolf portfolio company- in late 2016. Mr. Thomas served as both the CEO and CFO during his time at Snappy Air Distribution Products. He has over 20 years of professional experience, predominately in the Building Products industry focused on financial and operational management. Mr. Thomas has worked for private companies, family-owned companies and publicly-traded companies ranging from $75 million to over $300 million in revenue. His experience also includes working for three different private equity sponsors during various investment stages.

Mr. Thomas has extensive experience in turnaround situations that ultimately led to growth stage businesses with profitable exits. In addition, he has extensive acquisition and operating experience in emerging growth markets such as Chile, Brazil, and Colombia, various European markets and business adjacencies.

Mr. Thomas was previously CFO at Sto Corp. and held executive level financial positions at Republic National Cabinet Corporation and PolyVision Corporation. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in their assurance practice focusing on emerging growth manufacturing companies with domestic and international locations.

Mr. Thomas received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Auburn University and a M.B.A. from Emory University.
