Scott Hossie

Scott is responsible for overseeing all operations in Canada and the U.S. to ensure smooth day-to-day operations as well as bringing new facilities into the operating portfolio. Prior to this, Scott was Vice President, Origination where he was responsible for generating acquisition opportunities, negotiating key commercial agreements and partnerships, and completing project financings. Scott joined BluEarth in 2011 as Director, Project Development and Construction where he played a key role in the acquisition, development, and construction of BluEarth’s wind, hydro and solar projects.

Scott has 15 years of experience in the development of energy and infrastructure projects. Prior to joining BluEarth, Scott held management positions at TransAlta Corporation and Canadian Hydro Developers.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Master's Degree in Geography from the University of Guelph, and he completed the Executive Leadership Program at Queen’s University.
