Sheri Wise

Sheri joined BluEarth shortly after the company was founded in 2010 and she is responsible for overseeing finance, accounting, tax, strategic financial and capital planning, and administrative activities. Prior to her role as CFO, Sheri was Executive Vice President, and Controller overseeing the accounting, tax, and administrative functions. Since joining BluEarth, Sheri has played a key role in multiple corporate reorganizations as well as in the growth and development of the company’s insurance portfolio and payroll functions. Sheri has more than 20 years of experience, including more than 13 years in the renewables sector.

Before joining BluEarth, Sheri held senior-level accounting and treasury positions at Canadian Hydro Developers and TransAlta Corporation.

Sheri holds a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration, Accounting (Honours) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA).
