Anne Kantardjieff

Anne Kantardjieff serves as Vice President of Manufacturing at bluebird bio since March 2018, holding previous roles such as Senior Director for External Drug Product and Vector Manufacturing, alongside Director of Plasmids and Small Molecule Manufacturing. Prior to bluebird bio, Anne worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2009 to March 2018, progressing through various leadership positions, including Director of Early Stage Process Development and CMC Program Lead, with extensive responsibility in developing mammalian biologics drug substance processes and managing teams across multiple stages of product development. Anne holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
