Matthew Waltzer

Matthew Waltzer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in military leadership and electrical work. Currently serving as a Department of Labor Journeyman Lineman at Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Inc. since April 2019, Matthew has developed technical expertise in the electrical field. Since February 2017, Matthew has also held the position of Coyote (Squad Leader) with the Tactical Training Exercise Control Group, where responsibilities include facilitating role players for military exercises. Additionally, Matthew serves as a Team Leader with the 1st Battalion 8th Marines since July 2015, where leadership skills have been honed during training and deployments. Matthew's military experience began with the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Rifleman, followed by a role with the Marine Corps Security Force Regiment. Matthew studied at Northwest Lineman College, earning a degree in the Electrical Lineman Program, and has foundational education in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Parkland College.
