Zaven Arra

Zaven Arra is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and engineering management across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Director of Engineering at bluebot™ since March 2022, Zaven co-founded RRIV in January 2018, focusing on IoT water quality monitoring solutions. Zaven held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Greenstand from March 2017 to July 2022, overseeing GIS mobile and cloud technologies for reforestation projects. Additional roles include Lead Software Engineer at bluebot™, Acting VP of Engineering at Shepherd Lock, and Senior Mobile/Embedded Contractor at Cirrent, along with academic positions at Stanford and Yale universities. Zaven holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Humanities from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Yale University.
