Rachel Main

Rachel Main is an experienced administrative and script professional, currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland since July 2022. Since October 2019, Rachel has also been a Script Reader for the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, providing detailed coverage on various screenplay formats. Freelance script reading has been a consistent role since September 2019, alongside a position at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where Rachel has evaluated both undergraduate and graduate portfolios since November 2018. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Event Coordinator at New York University from September 2017 to August 2019, where responsibilities encompassed speech copyediting and event planning. Rachel's career began as an Usher at Dundee Contemporary Arts, where foundational customer service skills were developed. Rachel holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Film Studies from the University of Dundee.
