Daniel Bruce

Daniel Bruce has extensive work experience in software development. Daniel currently holds the position of Principal Software Developer at BlueCat since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Kolena Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer for a brief period in July 2022. From January 2021 to June 2022, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at AspireIQ.

Daniel also worked at Innodata Inc. as a Lead Frontend Developer from December 2018 to January 2021, where they were responsible for the user-facing aspects of the machine learning platform. Daniel contributed to the transition of TripAdvisor's Hotel Reviews page as a Senior Software Engineer in October and November 2018.

In their earlier career, they were self-employed and contracted by Innodata Inc. from November 2017 to September 2018 to build a user productivity tool. Daniel also served as a Technical Lead at Fitchek from July 2015 to October 2017, overseeing the development of their software platform. Finally, they were a Developer at Vectorface from March 2014 to June 2015, contributing to the casino engine software.

Daniel Bruce attended Carleton University from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a specialization in Computer Science and Statistics.
