Alana Powell

Alana Powell has held a variety of roles since 2008. Alana co-founded WE WALK DOGS in 2008, and held roles as a Resident Assistant and Administrative Assistant at Manhattan College from 2009-2012. Alana was also a Wellness Director and Personal Trainer at the YMCA from 2012-2015. In 2012, they were a Caregiver at Golden West Foundation and a Writer & Editor at Hungry and Fit. From 2014-2017, they held roles as a Senior Operations Associate and Operations Specialist at ZestFinance, and from 2015-2017 they were an Editor at Slant News Inc. Most recently, they were Chief of Staff and Director of Compliance & Audit at BlueChip Financial from 2017-present.

Alana Powell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree from Manhattan College in 2012. Alana attended Santa Monica High School from 2004 to 2008. In 2013, they obtained a Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Alana also holds a First Aid/CPR certification from the Red Cross.
