Gaurav Agarwal

Gaurav Agarwal has worked in a variety of roles since 2001. Gaurav began their career as a Research Engineer at CDOT Alcatel Research Centre, where they developed wireless switches for rural areas and solved technical problems related to C-Dot switches. In 2005, they joined Capital One as a Business Manager, where they had tactical leadership in credit risk, segmentation, pricing, analytics, process improvement and regulatory compliance. Gaurav also oversaw the risk based pricing program (RBP) for a $50Bn credit card portfolio. In 2010, they joined Royal Bank of Scotland as Senior Vice President - Head Customer Lifecycle Strategy and Senior Vice President - Head Collections & Recovery Strategy. In 2014, they joined Citizens Financial Group, Inc. as Senior Director Strategy and Head Credit Risk Policy Strategy & Analytics, where they were responsible for making policy recommendations and ensuring appropriate loan loss reserves. In 2019, they joined Cognition Financial as Chief Credit Officer, and in 2021, they joined BlueChip Financial as Chief Credit Officer.

Gaurav Agarwal received their PGDM in Marketing & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2005. In 2014, they attended the CBA Executive Banking School to study Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Gaurav also earned their BE in Computer Science from the Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology.
