Surya Alla has two years of professional experience. In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist at BlueChip Financial, where they use machine learning and big data for fraud detection and payback prediction in its underwriting models. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Delphi Consulting Middle East, where they developed a python recommender system using machine learning libraries, created Power BI dashboards/reports, implemented ETL and data movement solutions using Azure Data Factory, implemented Azure Active Directory with AD Migration, and created proof-of-concepts using python and ML techniques/algorithms.

Surya Alla completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science (Hons.) from the Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai between 2014 and 2018. In 2019, they completed a Master's degree in Data Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
