Anton Martinsson began their work experience in 2018 as a Bioinformatics Consultant at ALTEN Sweden, where they focused on in silico toxicology, computational biology, and data science. Anton provided support to drug development project teams by utilizing comparative genomics, protein/ligand structure analysis, pathway analysis, and translational biology. In 2019, Anton joined AstraZeneca as a Data Scientist, where they worked on chemoinformatics and data science to support early-stage drug development. Anton'srole focused on developing machine learning models to enhance drug safety. Later, they became a Senior Data Scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in clinical pharmacology and safety sciences, and focused on using chemoinformatics and data science to support drug discovery. Anton recently joined Treeline Biosciences as a Scientist in Cheminformatics & Data Science in 2022.
Anton Martinsson completed their education at various institutions. Anton obtained their Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma with a focus on Natural Sciences from Bäckängsgymnasiet between 2010 and 2013.
In addition to their formal education, Anton Martinsson also obtained several certifications in the field of machine learning. Anton completed courses such as "Sequence Models", "Deep Learning Specialization", "Convolutional Neural Networks", "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization", "Neural Networks and Deep Learning", and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera. These certifications were achieved between January 2020 and March 2020.
