Sydney Trieu

Sydney Trieu is a data scientist who is currently employed at BlueConduit. Sydney's previous positions include working as a Civic Digital Fellow at the Bureau of Labor Statistics, where they procured training data and built modeling pipelines for the consumer price index (CPI) autoencoder. Sydney also worked as a Data Angel for the City of Los Angeles, where they analyzed city expenditures on minority businesses for the city's racial equity metrics dashboard. In addition, Sydney was a project lead and curriculum developer at UC Berkeley's Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society, where they wrote undergrad curriculum (data 100) centering human contexts and ethics in data science, and developed a cook county assessor's office case study. Sydney has also been a writing tutor at the University of California, Berkeley and the director of Cal Raijin Taiko.

Sydney Trieu has a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
