Tim Freeman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2018, they joined Bluecore, where they have held multiple positions, including Director of Forward Deployed Engineering and Manager of Forward Deployed Engineering. Before that, they worked as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer and Forward Deployed Engineer at the same company. Tim also has experience as a Full Time Student of Web Development at Flatiron School in 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Democracy Prep Charter High School as an Instructional Coach, Grade Level Leader, and Teacher from 2011 to 2017. Tim also worked as an Auxiliar de Conversación at Consejería de Educación - Comunidad de Madrid in 2010 and as a Lead Teacher of the Spanish Department at Urban Prep Academies from 2008 to 2010. Tim started their career in education as a Teach For America Corps Member in 2008, where they received specialized training and collected and analyzed data for instructional improvement. Additionally, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Tabula Rasa from 2008 to 2010 and interned at ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 2006.
Tim Freeman attended The University of Memphis from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish. In 2008, they enrolled in National Louis University and completed a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from 2008 to 2010. In 2017, Tim attended Flatiron School for Full Stack Web Development, but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, they have a certification in CPR/AED.
